Change Management
Risk mitigation is an important role in making updates to your website. Unfortunately more often than not best practices for peer review are not followed due to the inconvenience of obtaining approvals. FREEDOM8 automates the approval process by assigning approval-level users to groups of website editors via the User Manager. Approval-level users can be compliance officers, mangers, or just another set of eyes. Changes to the site are then carried out through the Drafts Manager; when website changes are ready to be posted live through the Drafts Manger an email containing a unique URL will be sent to the approval-level user allowing the user to see the proposed changes, and either approve or deny them. Behind the scene the FREEDOM8 Site Record logs what changes were made, who made them, and who approved or denied the changes. Peer reviewable change control is a powerful addition that allows your website to be compliant.*

*Web Page Compliance and Regulation checklists indicate that changes should be recorded, including information about who changed the website, when they changed it, who approved it, etc.
